As expected,the company Apple has finally showed off its latest generation of iPhones – the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus along with their new Wireless AirPods.The latest flagships of Apple comes with some exclusive features which includes the dual camera setup on the back,new design,an IP67 water resistant,new display,stereo speakers and most important a totally new Apple A10 Fusion chip.
As far as the specification is concerned the iPhone 7 features a 4.7-inch Retina HD display while the bigger 7 Plus model features a 5.5-inch one.Both screens are expected to have a new technology called a Wide Colour p3 display, one that also features dual-domain pixels for wider viewing angles.The resolution of the devices are as sames as the previous versions.
The new iPhone 7 and 7 Plus both come with the new 64-bit, quad-core Apple A10 Fusion chip.These quad-core fusion chips are much more faster than the A8 and A9 chip-sets as claimed by the company and as far as the amount of RAM is concerned Apple did not mention it.
Coming to the cameras, Apple introduced all-new cameras on the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus.The iPhone 7 has a 12MP camera sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and a six-element lens set up along with OIS.Whereas on the other hand the iPhone 7 Plus has two 12MP sensors on the back.One that is paired to a standard wide angle lens,while the second one is paired to a telephoto lens.
As always Apple did not mention about the capacity of battery but the company has promised the best battery life of any iPhone ever.Besides of all these the new iPhones are IP67 water and dust resistant,both of the device has a redesigned and customizable home-button and supports the Wireless AirPods and stereo-audio.
The iPhone 7 will be released on September 16.The iPhone 7 price starts at $649 for the 32 GB version (with options up to 256 GB) and the iPhone 7 Plus price starts at $769 for the 32 GB version (again, with models up to 256 GB).As for the Indian market the new iPhones will go on sale in India from October 7th for a starting price of Rs 60,000.
Along with the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus Apple also unveiled the Wireless AirPods,a new step to the wireless concept of the company.The AirPods are powered by a new low-power W1 chip, a new wireless tech Apple is using in place of Bluetooth.The AirPods are bundilled with a couple of new features such as it lets you access to Siri with a double tap,dual optical sensors and accelerometers allow it to automatically pause music when you remove them from your ears, and resume when you plug them back in.The company claims that the AirPods will offer five hours of usage, and come with a case that holds an additional 24 hours of charge.
The AirPods are compatible with Apple devices running iOS 10, watchOS 3 and macOS Sierra(which includes Apple Watch,iPhones and Macs) and will be available late October for Rs 15,400.
